The Perinatal Mental Health Short Course was originally prompted by obstetricians who experienced the widespread occurrence of unrecognised perinatal mental health issues and their effects.
This course is co-designed and co-facilitated by experienced perinatal psychiatrists and obstetricians across India, who offer their unique professional and personal perspectives and expertise.
The course– co-designed and facilitated by The PARC and RCOG-SZ aims to improve understanding and identification of perinatal mental health issues in mothers while providing strategies for the initiation of management and appropriate referrals in complex cases.
