This website is a wholly-owned property of The PARC. The PARC is the sole owner of the Intellectual Property rights on the content available on the Website including any information about The PARC and forming part of any of the courses.

  2. The Website imparts information relevant to mental health for users within the territory of India.

    courses relating to mental health (“Courses”) with content modules designed exclusively by The PARC
    Instructors(“Instructors”). PARC reserves the right to takedown, cancel, interrupt, reschedule, or modify any Courses either solely, or in accordance with instructors.
  2. Academic credits are granted on the completion of certain select Courses only. Nothing in these Terms or otherwise with respect to your participation in any Courses establishes any relationship between you and any instructor.
  3. You are not entitled to use the resources of any Services beyond participation in the Course.
  4. The Training Services may enable you to share your content, such as homework, tests, projects, other assignments you submit, posts you make in the forums, and the like ("User Content"), with PARC Instructors, and/or other users.
  5. You retain all intellectual property rights in, and are responsible for, the User Content you create and share. User Content does not include course content or other materials made available on the Website.
  6. Relationship between The PARC and its expert Instructors are governed by the relevant agreements in place between The PARC and Instructors.
  7. Through the Services, you may be provided access and/or use content provided by Instructors, other users, and/or other third parties and links to websites and services maintained by third parties. PARC disclaims any responsibility or liability related to your access or use of, or inability to access or use, such third party content.

Paid Services

  1. Certain Services on the Website including Training Courses may be paid services. To avail such Services, you will have to make a payment through the payment gateway on the Website.
  2. The payment gateway on the Website is hosted on Razorpay, a third party payment service.
  3. PARC disclaims any responsibility or liability related to your access or use of, or inability to access or use of the payment gateway. However, PARC will make the best efforts to help you address your grievances arising from the payment gateway.
  4. Unless otherwise stated, charges and fees mentioned for such Services are in Indian Rupees (INR).

Access to Third Party Websites

  1. You may be required to access certain third party websites for accessing the Services on the website. The PARC cannot guarantee that such third party content, in the Services or elsewhere, will be free of material you may find objectionable or otherwise inappropriate or of malware or other contaminants that may harm your computer, mobile device, or any files therein.

Modification

  1. We are constantly changing and improving our Services. We unilaterally reserve the right to may add or remove functions,
    features, or requirements, and suspend or stop part of our Services altogether.
  2. We reserve the right to update our Course content regularly in consultation with the Instructors. You will be updated as and when
    such changes are effected.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or deactivate your access to the Website if you breach any of the Terms.

Jurisdiction

You agree that these Terms will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. In the event of any dispute related to these Terms that is not subject to binding arbitration, you and PARC consent to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of law at Bangalore, India.

Limitation of Liability

  1. In no event will the PARC, its officers, directors, employees, partners or agents shall be liable for any losses or damages including any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, personal injury or property damage related to, in connection with, or otherwise resulting from any use of the Website.
  2. In the event of a technical issue arising due to reasons solely attributable to the PARC, we shall strive to resolve such issue within a reasonable time period from the day when such issue is brought to our notice, in any event no later than the time prescribed under applicable law. However,PARC shall not be liable for any damages, liability or losses arising out of: (i) your use of or reliance on the Website or your inability to access or use the Website due to your non-compliance with these Terms; or (ii) any transaction or relationship between you and any third party service provider; or (iii) defaults of any third party service providers which are providing the Website related services to the PARC; or (iv) any event that is beyond our reasonable control and shall include, without limitation, sabotage, fire, flood, explosion, pandemic, act of God, civil commotion, strikes or industrial action of any kind, riots, insurrection, war, acts of government, computer hacking, unauthorized access to your device or storage device, crashes and breach of security.
