The most commonly explored relationship in the therapy room is one with the primary caregiver, often the mother. For a daughter this may define her development as a woman, and achieving the fine balance between staying connected while individuating from her mother. This workshop focuses on conflicts in mother-daughter relationships as seen in a systemic family therapy context, and ways to help overcome the conflict, using real case examples.
