Dr Mathew Varghese is an adjunct professor at St John’s Medical College, Bangalore, where he is building the geriatric psychiatry services. During his tenure at NIMHANS, he was head of the
department of psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry services. He was also in-charge of the training programme in family therapy and individual therapy.
