Cognitive Analytic Therapy – Level 1: Foundation Programme

This one-year foundational training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) offers mental health professionals an introduction to a structured, relational, and time-limited psychotherapy model. Developed in the UK, CAT is widely used across clinical settings for understanding patterns in relationships and supporting meaningful psychological change.

This programme is developed with guidance from the International Cognitive Analytic Therapy Association (ICATA), externally moderated by ICATA, and accredited by the Indian Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy.

Who is it for?

Mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric nurses who:

• Have completed a relevant Master’s degree or equivalent training
• Have at least 250 hours of client work experience
• Currently have access to clients for ongoing therapeutic work

When?

Commences September 2026
Duration: 1 year (blended format)

• Professional Fee: ₹68,300
• Student (PhD Scholars) Fee: ₹55,250
