Event Description

Christopher is a 15 year old boy with Autism who discovers that his neighbour’s dog, Wellington has been speared to death with a garden fork. His investigation of his canine friend’s murder also unravels truths about his own family.

A special book club meeting in memory of Dr Ashok M V, Professor of Psychiatry at St John’s Medical College & Hospital. His sudden demise recently sent shock waves in both the medical fraternity and the patient community.

He set up the child and adolescent psychiatry and Centre for Advanced Research and Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders at St. John’s. He was passionate about working with Autism Spectrum Disorders and this book was known to be his favourite.

Join us on his birthday 2nd of July, to pay tribute to his work in a way that was closest to his heart.
